Crowded Castle Brewing Co. "Oktoberfest"
$3/6 oz. on tap at the brewery on 16 November 2019
Notes: Slightly hazy deep copper in color beneath a short but creamy off-white head. The head retention and lacing are only fair. Malty aroma of toasty, golden and medium caramel malts with just a suggestion of noble hops. The flavor follows pretty much exactly what the nose suggests, and it's nicely balanced by a firm bitterness. It's nicely rounded and balanced with all of the separate components coming together as one with no rough edges or bumps - which is nice because a lot of American brewers tend to over-do the style either with too much malt or too much bitterness or even too much hop flavor or the wrong types of hops. It's medium bodied with a fine-bubbled, slightly lower than standard carbonation.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
