12oz bottle. Served in a snifter glass.
Pours a medium orange body, slightly hazy in character with a one finger white head, fair retention, minimal lacing. It looks more like an APA, really. Smells of crisp tangerine and grainy wheat, a bit of caramel and a toffee maltiness. Not all that well-put together, but I suppose it does the job just fine. Flavour is a bit of toffee maltiness, touch of sweet caramel, touch of citrus, a bit of grainy cereal sweetness on the finish. It comes together better on the palate than it does on the nose, although there is quite a bit less hoppy character on the palate- it is not particularly hop aromatic as far as the citrus goes, just more of a light and bland, non-descript resinous bitterness to it. Mouthfeel is lighter bodied, fair amount of depth, a bit lower in carbonation than expected, mild resinous bitterness and grainy cereal malty sweetness on the finish. It's nothing all that special; it really seems to be more of a fairly average APA, stylistically speaking.
