This tastes more like a very good pils. Tart with a hoppy surprise in the middle. Clean finish. Aldi has a good one here.

Nice and clear and golden, high white head. Smell is sweet mineral tang. Taste is bright noble hops and rich malts, with some candi sweetness. Very clean and drinkable. By far the best adjunct lager going- American Pale Lager might be the better category.

Picked up at Aldi's, not listed so I added it. Looked for State of Brewing in Waunakee, WI but didn't exist so I put under Octopi. Popping the top I get the characteristic sweet lager smell. Pours to a straw yellow with a bright white head. Taste is classic lager but a bit sweeter and a nice hop punch. If I didn't know, I don't, this isn't adjunct as it has great body. Nice bitter aftertaste, reminiscent of the Green Death, Heileman's Special Export. Very enjoyable and at $6.99 a sixes, a go to.
