Appearance: Clear reddish-amber with a massive, dense light tan head, offering excellent retention. Thick, patchy irregular lacing decorates the glass wall. Profuse streams of miniscule bubbles race to the surface.
Aroma: Abundant spice notes, primarily ginger and cinnamon dominate the aroma, with a wave of brown sugar and light caramel, as well as a pleasing note of vanilla.
Taste: The taste begins with cinnamon and brown sugar, and just a hint of ginger, as well as a pleasing note of vanilla. As the taste progresses, there are notes of toasted malt, and a stronger presence of ginger, a well as a little bitter orange rind. Finishes with lingering ginger and some mildly bitter herbal hops.
Mouth feel: Full, soft and smooth, with a creamy head.
Drinkability/notes: Very pleasant and seasonable, Would be quite suitable for a holiday dinner or anytime during the Winter season.
Presentation: Packaged in a twelve ounce brown glass long-neck bottle with a pry-off crown, served in a la Fin du Monde tulip.

From the bottle in the Aldi 2021 Bier Advent Calendar, it pours a clear reddish amber color with a modest off-white head that slowly reduces. In the nose, Christmas spices predominate. The mouth gets a Christmas Spiced malty brew.
