Canned on 12/30/21. 12oz can poured into a tulip.
Pours almost black; small light khaki head that fades leaving okay retention and lacing.
The aromas emulate a blend of peanut butter and Oreo cookies. Malts are there.
The flavors follow the nose. More peanut butter leading the way along with some chocolate and vanilla. Some salted peanut shells. Subtle sweetness. Lower bitterness. Malts do their thing. Alcohol is well hidden.
Mouthfeel is on the lighter side of full-bodied with active carbonation. It's sharp, fluffy and smooth.
This is a pretty nice beer. Nice peanut butter and chocolate notes. It's slightly bold while remaining balanced and restrained. Well done.
