Draft at Caffeina. Hazy mustard color, small foamy head. Light citrusy, grapefruit aroma. Taste is subdued grapefruit juice, soft around the edges . Refreshing but run of the mill.

this is a venture into the unknown for these guys, who make some hoppy beers but not hazy ones, and are best suited to the german stuff and the strong ales for my money, but i was impressed by this, a little unrefined and overly hazy and thick, but arent they all? the hop profile is great, not sure what they use, but past the light green onion i get distinct coconut and pineapple in the flavor, to the extent that it almost seems fruited, and while the hops are intense, there is no vegetal burn here at all, and the bitterness is kept in check, so its intense but in a juicy way, not traditionally robust, and it seems all dry hopped to me. smooth in feel, wheat at the core perhaps, not a lot of grain flavor but there is balance here, and not quite clean on the ferment, but close enough with a hop profile this fruity, fresh, and delicious. its a little too full feeling, but the wonderful hops hang on the body, so ill accept it. great linger here, lemongrass, key lime, honeydew, and rainier cherry to finish. killer hop profile here, solid base beer, a predictable new direction for these guys, but they nailed this one pretty well. already relevant locally...
