64oz growler, poured into a Corridor Brewery pint glass.
The beer pours an incredibly turbid and hazy orange color, golden and amber hues with a finger of white head, little to no retention over multiple pours yet it yields fantastic swatches of soapy lace. The aroma is interesting, lots of fresh strawberry, creamy lactose with some sweet vanilla, pale grain, light citrusy and floral hops, definitely getting the milkshake aspect of the beer. The flavors mirror the nose, tons of fresh strawberry, really nice and bright, vanilla and lactose are less present but definitely bring out some sweetness that plays well with the pale grain and yeast, a bit of tropical hops play well with the strawberry character though there is some lingering grassy bitterness from the base IPA. The mouthfeel is solid, medium body, a bit lighter and airier than expected, lively texture with a creamy yet dry finish.
Verdict: A good experimental IPA from Corridor, one of the better "Milkshake IPAs" that I've tried. The strawberry character is super fresh, definitely benefits from a fresh growler fill rather than a packaged and distributed product. The balance is pleasant, the base IPA comes through, still not 100% sold on the style as a whole but it's still an enjoyable beer.

Crowler filled 10/14/17; drank that night @ the Yarchives.
Opaque orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a nice white head; frothy lace.
Strawberry & mild cream notes in the nose.
Soft, medium mouthfeel.
Sweet strawberry & mild cream flavors; the faintest grass dryness on the finish. This had a killer mouthfeel & nice fruit flavor, but this is pretty far from what you would call an IPA. Pleasant but a bit lightweight.
