32oz crowler, filled on 08.01.2021, poured into a Corridor pint glass.
The beer pours a copper color, amber hues, fairly clear, bubbles rising to the top of the glass where a foamy white head sits, moderate retention and lacing. The aroma is okay, bready, amber and caramel malts, citrus peel, floral yeast and mineral water. The flavors are fine, amber grains, a bit bready and heavy, almost a nuttiness, grapefruit peel, earthy noble hop, grassy and floral with a crisp mineral water finish. The mouthfeel is good, coating, softer medium body, lively and crisp with a dry finish.
Verdict: An average Helles from Corridor. It's a bit heavy and bready, lacks the signature brightness and lighter, more delicate attributes of the style.
