473 mL can from the LCBO; no packaging date and served slightly chilled.
Pours hazy but translucent; its golden orange-hued body displays a pinkish blush. Vaguely reminiscent of grapefruit juice, save for that inch of foamy, soapy white head that lingers for two minutes or so. A frothy cap and collar manage to last a little bit longer, but by five minutes the surface is mostly barren. Subdued nose of lemon juice and raspberry lemonade; there's also a hint of lactic funk, but the lemonade sweetness kind of covers it up.
The premise is basic, but well-executed. Mild raspberry sweetness at the forefront, with grainy malts & lemonade sugar also coming through; this is followed by a big blast of sour lemon near the midpoint of the sip. Sugary lemonade and sour lemon juice persist into and then beyond the finish, with shades of lactic/gym bag funk fading into a pithy, dry-ish aftertaste. Medium in body, with assertive carbonation that imparts a lively spritz to this brew's smooth, fluffy mouthfeel. Goes down easily enough - refreshing too, but at 5.6% it's a little too strong to be taken seriously as a session option.
Final Grade: 3.71, a B grade. My past experiences with Bobcaygeon's Amplitude series have been underwhelming, but it's hard to screw up a lemonade sour. Naturally, Pink Lemonade Sour is my favourite variant thus far. The lemonade sugar & raspberry are in a balancing act with the citrus & lactic sourness, and the end result is shockingly even-handed. It's the sort of thing you'd want to drink poolside, or while lounging at the beach, though maybe not one after another. Worth a try if it sounds appealing - I'd drink this again, but at $4.50 per tallboy, there are better value kettle sours out there.

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, from my favourite LCBO at The Roundhouse Centre in nearby Windsor. My first beer from the Peterborough, ON brewery.

Poured a 437ml can into a pint glass. A two finger fine white head on a cloudy pink-orange. good head retention. Some patchy lacing.
Prominent fruit smells.
An initial sour burst of fruit. A fruity, dry finish.
Moderate body and carbonation.
A smooth and well balanced Fruited Kettle Sour.
