Collaboration with Ninkasi Brewing Company.
We got together during San Diego Beer Week to brew an epic beer with our friends at Ninkasi. Heading into winter, a big & bold triple IPA was an obvious choice. So sit back, relax, and warm yourself up with this tasty expression of lupulin delight. You deserve one.
Hops: Cashmere, Mosaic, Simcoe

Single 16 oz can from Ale Tales bottleshop in San Diego.
Pours a clear deep golden with finger creamy white head - nice lacing.
Aroma of over ripe orange, mango, piney, resinous, and slightly dank.
Tastes of bittersweet mango, orange, pine resin, tangerine, moderately boozy with a building sticky hop bitterness.
Full slightly boozy mouthfeel - tame carbonation - leaves with a resinous sticky bittersweetness.
Top notch TIPA,

Picked this up with four other singles and a Modern Times 4-pack at Windmill Farms. Second Chance does some good things, so I was excited to see who this triple IPA turned out with Ninkasi. Back of the can read, “We got together during San Diego Beer Week to brew an epic beer with our friends at Ninkasi. Heading into winter, a big & bold triple IPA was an obvious choice. So sit back, relax, and warm yourself up with this tasty expression of lupulin delight. You deserve one.” Hops mentioned were Cashmere, Mosaic and Simcoe.
Poured an amber clear color with two fingers of off-white frothy head. Lots of bubbles coming from the bottom of the glass, kind of looking like a snow globe. Very good spotty lacing. Decent spotty retention. (Sight - 3.75)
Smelled pine, big mango, guava, red grapefruit, Simcoe, onion, blueberry, Mosaic, passion fruit, papaya and citrus. Much better out of the can. (Smell - 4.00)
Taste followed the nose for the most part, but got better as it went down. In order got mango, guava, red grapefruit, Simcoe, onion, papaya, Mosaic, blueberry, bubblegum, passion fruit, citrus, herbal and hints of coconut. Tasted nowhere near 10.2 pct. ABV. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long finish. So good. (Feel - 5.00)
This beer really grew on me. Excellent overall. (Overall - 4.25)

Clear golden yellow brew with a nice slosh of white foam in the Dogfish IPA glass. Big malt, plenty sweet, Inviting aroma of citrus with a touch of mango. Flavors of tangerine peel, grapefruit, and the alcohol dominates the finish. Moderate bitterness.
Overall it's bright and just crisp enough to balance the sugars. This is actually quite sippable, for being so strong. From the 16 oz can purchased at Barons Market.
