Resiny, dank mango aromatics, this West Coast IPA has a subtle tropical fruit sweetness and finishes slightly bitter and dry. This beer is refreshingly low-medium bodied with minimal perceived malt.
Hops: HBC 522, Citra, Strata

Spent way too much at Windmill Farms and then at North Park Beer Company, but happy with my selections. Beer description called for, “Resiny, dank mango aromatics, this West Coast IPA has a subtle tropical fruit sweetness and finishes slightly bitter and dry. This beer is refreshingly low-medium bodied with minimal perceived malt.” Hops mentioned were HBC 522, Citra and Strata. Looking up HBC 522 it looks like it was, “Intense aromas and flavors of mango, anise and dank pine lead into a smooth full-bodied mouthfeel and a spicy finish.”
Poured a medium yellow clear color with 1-to-2 fingers of off-white fizzy head, which dissipated quickly. Could see plenty of bubble streams coming up from the bottom of the glass at fast speeds. Below average watery lacing. Below average retention. (Sight - 3.25)
Smelled more of the HBC 522 than the other two mentioned hops. In order got mango, guava, pine, resin, weed, red grapefruit, strawberry, Strata, Citra and floral. Much of the same from the can. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted even better than the nose. In order got strawberry, mango, red grapefruit, guava, bitter pine, resin, weed, Strata, floral, Citra and mango blossom. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Juicy finish. Not bitter at all. (Feel - 4.50)
Damn. This was an excellent beer. Want to get some more of this. (Overall - 4.25)
