Went to grab a 6-pack and a few cans at Windmill Farms and came home with 29 beers, spending way too much money. Second Chance’s website called this beer “It's summertime, where the livin' is easy and the skies are sunny. Cheers to Cold IPA's and good times.” The taste described as “crisp and clean with notes of peaches, blueberries, and tropical fruit from Idaho 7, ekuanot, and mosaic hops.”
Poured a medium yellow clear color with three fingers of frothy white head. Could see plenty of fast moving bubble streams coming up along the sides and bottom of the glass. Almost perfect foamy spiderweb foamy lacing. Almost perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled Idaho 7, lime, herbal, Ekuanot, viney vegetable, green pepper, peach, mango, Mosaic, blueberry, tropical fruit bubblegum, black pepper and green tea. Smelled better out of the can. (Smell - 3.75)
Tasted about as good as the nose. In order got Ekuanot, green pepper, lime, herbal, Idaho 7, green tea, peach, mango, Mosaic, blueberry, tropical fruit bubblegum, black pepper and lingering spice. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Dry, spicy finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Really liked this one. Grew on me each sip. It was outstanding overall. (Overall - 4.00)
