I had this beer on-tap in a tulip at the brewery in Bratislava.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a moderate haze and a thick 2-finger head of creamy ivory foam. Excellent.
Smell: lightly toasty malt with some earthy, almost musty hop character. Not the most original APA out there.
Taste: toasty malt character with a relatively dry maltiness. Hops are earthy and perhaps a little citrusy in character, and bitterness is relatively high. It's decent.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: I think people maybe come to Slovakia for the lagers, and not the American pale ales. That said, this ticks the bitter box if that is what you're after.
