I had this beer on-tap at the brewery in Bratislava in a chalice.
Appearance: dark brown hue with three thick fingers of tan foam that leave a beautiful lace on the glass. Just outstanding.
Smell: yeasty, with a little caramel, toffee, and toast. Very good indeed.
Taste: yeaty, toasty, a little roasty, and nicely bitter. Perhaps not as excellent as the aroma, but still quite good.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: one of the best Czech dark lagers I have had. Delightful!
