Fabrika: The Beer Pub

I had this beer on-tap in a weizen glass at the brewery in Bratislava.

Appearance: light yellow hue with tons of haze and a thick head of creamy white foam. Really very pretty indeed.

Smell: a classic clove-and-banana aroma, and a strong one to boot. Pretty darn good.

Taste: flavor is soft and wheaty with a good yeast character. Definitely more on the clove side of the spectrum than the banana side, but still the banana is there and I rather like it.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess.

Overall: a solid hefeweizen! Though I prefer something that expresses banana aroma a bit more, this is still pretty balanced and I’m enjoying it.
