THIS SUMMER... the return of the prodigal Haison - a collaboration without hesitation.
This third installment is packed with mind-blowing hop aromas, a product of unseen interactions between Blackberry Farm Brewery's robust Saison yeast and the unstoppable hop known as Talus. The onslaught of papaya and spice aromas leave only flavors of peaches and cream in their wake. The mild effervescence is defenseless against the full-bodied mouthfeel and lingering hop complexity. The Haisoning is upon us.

Had Haison V.3 (The Haisoning) poured from 32-oz. crowler, filled at Alliance taproom, Date "10-1," gift from friends, into Teku tulip 3.0.
Pours light but bright yellow-gold with clarity and 2-finger, sticky, foamy near-white head, with good retention, leaving some sketchy lace scattered down the glass. Big sweet fruit and cracker malt aromas off pour, then of pleasant saison yeast spices, eventually florals, and finally aromas of sweet stone fruits and tropical melon. Begins with a little carbonation and bold citrus, then saison yeast spices and sweet and sharp stone fruits, over a moderately smooth (if not classically silky saison), mild malt body, before a crisply bitter, moderately spicy, long, lingering finish.
Complex yet pleasingly complementary aroma and flavor profile from the saison yeast and Talus hops, yet still recognizably and appreciably a saison, with a notably balanced bitter finish. Incidentally, it's (at least my crowler was) not hazy.
