Purchased at the Liquor Collection in Honolulu.
Pale, cloudy, straw-yellow with a very small, thin head. An almost complete lack of lacing. Looks like Faygo Pineapple-Orange soda.
Nose is very faint malt with fruity overtones.
Flavor is almost completely absent. Watery, thin, bland, almost no malt character, no discernible hops. Slight sweetness and fruitiness shows up on the finish as a nod to the title "Mango Beer". A thirst quencher, nothing more.
Mouthfeel is thin with fairly high carbonation. Again, much like Faygo Pineapple-Orange soda.
Drinkability is actually OK. The flavor, what there is of it, is inoffensive and quenching. It's a good cold drink on a hot day, I suppose, but I won't be trying it again.

It is extremely light in color...very pale straw. Lively carbonation, and cloudy for a light lager...I assume because of the mango. The fruit is evident in the aroma, so that you expect it to be a stronger taste influence than it is. It is very light and crisp, and the mango is actually a pretty nice addition. It's not at all overpowering, just subtle enough to be noticed, yet gives some character to what would otherwise be a very bland and very light thirst quencher without it.
