Had on tap at the brewery.
On arrival about a finger of bone white head was present on top of a body that looks like golden straw.
Aroma is malty with some like kolsch pear and apple esters, but not acetaldehyde. Very malty with a slight hint of adjunct thay a brewer informed me is wheat combined with a little vienna malt.
Flavor is incredibly malty if not a bit grainy and sweet. It seems like there is some residual sugar here, bit a light grainy and bready nuttiness keeps things in balance. Not all that hoppy, bust still quite delicate and interesting, especially for a pale lager-adjacent beer.
Feel is full with a medium long finish and a full malty body, but still very drinkable, as a kolsch should be.
Overall a decent beer, but the malt is a bit more nuanced than I'd like, but I'm more of a biscuit malt and corn guy than a vienna and wheat guy.

On tap at the brewery. Enjoyed with a meatball pasty (!) on the deck. Average kolsch.
