Had on tap at the brewery.
In arrival a 1 finger just off white head was present that recented to a decent covering and better ring around the glass. Slight lacing forms but not the best ever. Body is a clear dark red, pushing brown, dark & malty.
Aroma is clean and sweet with caramel malts. Beyond the sweet malts this is very clean and crisp with a slight breadiness. Light like a lager with decent malt character.
Flavor follows the aroma but brings some molasses character and Sligh figgy or stone fruit sweetness as well. Very malty, but it comes off as almost dry.
Feel is drinkable but full bodied. Not thick like a stout, but the malts make themselves known. Medium long finish but lighter than a lot of malty beers.
Overall this is a decent beer, but is is very sweet and not a fully authentic bock with the fruity notes, but this is a good smooth dark lager with full flavors.
