hazy ipa with orange from what i can tell, its flavorful but not expertly done, a little weird, but very juicy, some residual sugar slowing it down for me a little, but fresh and somewhat unique as these go. there is a pale yellow color to it, not a ton of density or anything but its hazy for sure, average white head from the tap. it smells and tastes like there is a natural orange addition, and based on the name there probably is, it doesnt really seem like this level of fruitiness could all be from hops, although i am not positive. some neat supporting hop notes too though, cantaloupe, maybe from el dorado, and a southern hemisphere fruity thing too, white wine grapes, kiwi fruit, a little canned pineapple juice, all of them with their sugars. there isnt any real bitterness here, so the hops just kind of carry on after the swallow, it never really finishes, but i dont mind because the citrus and herbal hop layers are pleasant, the tropical elements slowly fade, and there is enough carbonation that it never feels weighty or anything. not quite as technically excellent as a lot of their beers, but the flavors are cool, the fruit with the hops is a success, and its cool how many clever beers are always on tap in here. i love this place!
