Draft was very dark with a small head. The pumpkin, spices and smoky aroma hint at what's to come. The taste is surprisingly smooth with the coffee, pumpkin, and smoke each earning a place. Complex but not overdone. Well above average pumpkin derivative. If you like a stout you will love this.

This beer has a smoked pumpkin coffee flavor. It was very smooth and not too strong. You can have more than one unlike many pumpkins. It was served a little warmer than I like but assisted with the tasting.

16oz can, sample from the brewery.
This big bad dark ale has a bit of punch, not just the alcohol but the spicing and coffee. There is a mild smoke flavor but its all about the pumpkin, mild spicing, and coffee resting a delicious dark malt backbone. I don't have a problem stating that this is one of my favorite Pumpkin Ales I have had to date.
