Brewed with generous amounts of Buddha’s Hand fruit and Madagascar vanilla bean, this cream ale packs a refreshing citrus flavor with a delightful vanilla undertone making this spring brew refreshingly crushable.

Pours a dark gold with a small head. A little lacing on the surface. Smell is mostly grassy hops. Taste is really rather pilsnery. But it's a good hoppy pils. There's citron and vanilla in this and they are detectable, but are definitely in the background. I was expecting a little more to be going on in this one. The upside is that it's very drinkable. Nice medium bodied feel with that crisp bracing herbal grassy pils bitterness at the end. Overall, it's pretty good, or at least quite drinkable, but I'm not sure if it's what they were going for or not.

Pours a clear golden color which somehow becomes slightly cloudy over time. A moderately large foam head retains very well. Not a bad looking brew.
A dry Pilsner malt aroma opens things up, fairly clean and nondescript. Soon, however, the adjuncts reveal
Notes of citrus and vanilla.
A clean dry cracker and Pilsner malt taste is balanced by a modest hops bitterness in the finish. The vanilla adjuncts add a nice subdued sweetness, while the Buddha’s Hand Fruit yields notes of orange and sweet lemon.
Light drinking, although it has some some depth and body. Moderate carbonation with a refreshing and crisp mouthfeel.
I’m not an expert on the Cream Ale style but I found this to be pleasant and drinkable.

EBF Last Saturday Hazy somewhat dark golden in color with a foamy white head. Bready crackery pilsner maltiness with some vanilla and a tart fruit. kind of works.
