Happoshu Japanese Lager
To increase their calorie intake, sumo wrestlers are known to drink a six pack of Happoshu style lagers with their lunch. Happoshu lagers are brewed with less than 65% malt and have a low ABV. We brewed ours with 3 different types of rice and aged it on Genmaicha brown rice green tea and koji for a light, crisp, and unique flavor reminiscent of sake.
