On draught at Crooked Hammock, Lewes, DE.
Pours a hazy orange color. A modest foam head quickly dissipates.
Nice nose teeming fruity and bright citrusy hops. Notes of orange, lime, grapefruit, lychee, mango, peach and pear. Aromas of cracker malt and slightly dank herbal hops.
A creamy oats and cracker malt base gives way to fruity and juicy hops flavors. Notes of orange cream soda, lime, mango, peach and pear. The taste opens up a bit too much on the sweet side, which makes me speculate if it has lactose. This improves somewhat as fruity resins and lightly peppery spices open up further in.
Medium bodied with a smooth and creamy mouthfeel. The finish is smooth and semi dry. The carbonation is moderate.
This had a great nose, however, the sweetness was a tad much for me.
