Pours a clear caramel copper color. A moderate size head soon dissipates, and leaves some lacing.
The nose is sweet with notes of biscuit, toasted bread, cracker and honey. Some hops aromas at the beginning, earthy and a touch citrusy.
Opens sweetly with strong malt character balanced by earthy and citrusy hops, and a gentle bitterness. Notes of toasted biscuit, cracker, bread crust, honey, orchard fruit and a hint of orange.
Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel and crisp finish. The carbonation is moderate.
Decent Oktoberfest that was much better on draught than from the can of which this review is based on. I would have again.
