Crooked Hammock Brewery - Lewes

This is billed as a triple IPA, brewed with Lucky Charms cereal. I don't know what got into me on this visit to the hammock but I guess I felt like trying their crazy experimental stuff. Dark gold in a goblet with no head. Smell is sweet, booze, bright citrusy hops. Oranges. Taste is kind of what you would expect- like a double IPA that has been hit with a bunch of sugar to increase the alcohol. It has residual sweetness and spicy booziness and the hops and DIPA flavor although strong are somehow in the background. If you are thinking "Lucky Charms" as you take a sip I think it's there. Both beers I had this night were a little flat or under-carbonated. Not very drinkable. Overall, it's kind of fun but only partially works.
