On tap at the brewery. Black with a thin ring. Smells of whiskey, a little bit of balsamic acidity, lots of red wine notes, and earthy roasted malts. Tastes of balsamic vinegar, tart cherries, earthy malts, some chocolate. Red wine and whiskey oak finish. Medium heavy. Not sweet at all. Surprisingly good, though it's way out of my comfort zone.
