a tasty and refreshing session ipa, part of a series of one offs thats always changing. my favorite beer from my visit to this cool rural brewery, and objectively speaking, its probably their best beer too. its clear and honey colored, frothy white headed, and brightly carbonated. the hops are the best of the juicy dry hopped and also bitter finishing worlds, and it still drinks really easy. its a session beer with some malt character to it which i like, yet the hops are clearly the point of this one, center stage and fresh as can be, boldly dosed, and well selected for what else is going on. its dry enough, and the ale yeast is flavorless. its not boring because the hops keep evolving through it, even though their flavors and aromas are familiar to me. a little grapefruit bite, a little oily richness, vegetal freshness, really pretty clean in the finish too despite the moderately high bitterness. well made beer like all the stuff in here, and just a little more adventurous than most of their regular beers. enjoyable pint!
