Pours dark brown with a hint of burgundy. It has a muddy translucency. Head is a finger of khaki foam. Aroma is brown sugar, molasses, fig, toffee, and raisin. Of the bunch, raisin is the heaviest. Rich and sweet with a little sticky sweetness in the middle. Flavor profile is brown sugar, molasses, toffee, raisins, and fig. Both the latter notes are more forward in the flavor profile than the aroma. Dry finish with some of the alcohol heat poking through the finish. Overall, smells good, but the rest falls a little flat. Big and bold, for certain.
