I had this beer on-tap in a shaker pint at Brewtop Social in SeaTac Airport.

Appearance: medium golden hue with just a soupçon of haze and practically no head. That’s more the bar’s fault than the beer’s, though.

Smell: mildly sweet malt aroma with kind of a honey note. Not bad.

Taste: like the aroma, a light malt that’s appropriate to the style. Doesn’t have a ton else going on, though.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess.

Overall: pretty decent for a blonde ale! Not super rich or anything, but it gets the job done.

On tap at Canal Grille into pint glass. Pours fairly clear golden amber color with a 1-2 finger fluffy off white head with good retention and spotty foamy lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of lemon, orange, melon, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, bread, pear, apple, herbal, floral, grass, yeast earthiness. A bit of a musky wet dog nose(dirty lines?). Medium pine rind woody bitter finish. Medium carb and body, fairly crisp clean refreshing finish. balanced bready grainy malt and sticky resinous hop mouthfeel. Lingering resin dryness and minimal hop astringency. Balanced clean malt and noble hop flavors. Good style example.

Drank on an Alaskan Airlines flight from Honolulu, so I was looking for a well made light ale-maker since they are rare in Hawaii. Of course. I found it here from Alaskan who is among the Top 3 ale-makers north of Portland.... IMHO.

But Wildness Looks more amber than gold and Tastes. It also Tastes more like a mildly-hopped APA than an American Blonde. But these are nits that BA-ers pick. This is a good ale and it improves as it warms. And in particular as it warms and flavours become distinct, I taste how Alaskan hops are supposed to discipline the malts... gently. This is a lesson all you APA-makers should heed. Medium-mouthed, but certainly full for the ABA style.

I'm liking Alaskan more and more after a several year hiatus that, basically, was my bad. I also like how they take seriously their employees by cutting them into the deal with an ESOP. Cheers !

Clear golden amber brew with enthusiastic foam in the PIlsner glass. Aroma of bread with a hint of banana. There's a touch of sweetness with a spicy note that is just right. Malty to start, but more than a kiss of hops. Some cereal, a touch of orange peel, and a grassy tang. Really an excellent beer to sip or quaff. I hope they'll promote this one, I think they're on to a better light brew with actual flavor. I might even call this a Pale Ale, considering the hops, but if not then it's the best Blonde Ale ever to fly. From the 12 oz can courtesy of Alaskan Airlines. "Best by 042225."

12 oz can best by 11/6/24 into a Becker.
L: Pours 98% clear light honey color with lush steady carbonation, a thin slightly off white head that recedes to edge foam, light spotty lacing.
S: Grains, a hint of fruits, a trace of pastry dough.
T: Gently sweet fruits lie peach, pear, citrus. A moderately bitter hop note, distant honey, a light bready aftertaste. The finish is a bit bitter.
F: Lightly brisk medium to medium-light bodied feel with a medium-length halfway drying clean finish. Mouth feel becomes soft with warming.
O: Very approachable, easy drinking, moderately light with a slightly large flavor. It is very good in its style.

From a 12oz can. Best by 10/12/24

There's a good deal of carbonation in this beer. It's foaming out of the can when I opened it. This beer is clear golden pouring. There's a thick 4 finger white head with an aggressive pour. The head retention is damn good, and there's some good looking lacing on the glass.
The aroma has a honey like sweetness to it that mixes with a cereal grain aroma.
Taste - Malty grain flavor starts the beer off it has some biscuit notes. The beer gets a floral element to the back of this beer. There's also a faint hop bitterness that shows up to say hi.
The body is light and clean feeling.
Tasty and damn easy to drink.

Wildness pours a bronze color with a small, lacing head. The aroma is light but has a nice grain note. The flavor is a little sweeter, with nice, sweet, bright grain and then notes of subtle lemon. Good feel. Overall, a very solid blonde ale with lots of flavor.
