Bottle Date: presumably Spring 2016
Palate Contaminants: none
The appearance is clear, but not quite crystal clear. The color is light yellow, and I just keep seeing an ever so slight tinge of blue or green. Plenty of fine head, too, but not much lacing left.
The smell is candy corn, Kool-Aid mix, and brettanomyces. Oh, yeah!
The taste isn't notably great. The candy corn is still there, and I get a little saison graininess, but it's fairly weak. Maybe there's some honeysuckle sweetness, but again, it's weak. The character is mostly tart and slightly sour, and those are more apparent than the flavors. (Strange description, I know.) It's more "meh" than bad.
I'm a little surprised at how much aftertaste there is, since usually it's less than the gustatory part. Carbonation is pretty well integrated.

750ml corked and caged bottle poured into a tulip. The brew appears a clear pale yellow with big white head that holds well fading leaving spotty lace.
Aroma is carbonic with minerals and earthy brett with not much else. I cant get by how much this smells like a handful of dirty pocket change. Once it gets warm its faintly reminiscent of coconut but im really stretching to find it and if I didnt read it on the label never would have noticed.
Taste is about as exciting as the aroma: minerals, carbonic bite, dirty picket change - nickels and faint greenness. After it gets warm, there is a touch of lemony lactic character but it pales in comparison to the rest of the meh characteristics.
Light in body and excessively carbonated even by saison standards. I did not enjoy this at all, after 4 oz I contemplated just dumping it but said F it and gave it another chance. After an hour, once the excessive carbonation breathes away it becomes a little better but overall not worth the effort. I appreciate the fellow who sent me this but I dont want to have it again.

I very much respect and like what Beachwood is doing with its Blendary. Very interesting things all things considered. This one, and those the first6 months of 2016 have simply been very vegetal; very green ivy and green pepper. Somewhat food friendly but with a very green grass/new mowed lawn finish. Not a bad beer; not for everyone.

The 6.6e4 is a light, approachable tart saison with coconut flavor. The coconut comes across more in the smell but adds a nice subtle flavor complementing the mild saison yeast and oak. Nice texture and full, pillowy carbonation. Overall a solid and refreshing saison.
