Strong malt backbone thanks to the Horton Ridge pale malt with notes of biscuit, honey and a caramel finish. Moderate hop bitterness with spicy, earthy notes attributed to the New Brunswick grown Goldings hops

Hazy chestnut brown with a strong head. Rich caramel malt nose. Mild medium malt body with a superb creamy mouthfeel. Very good.

Pretty spot on for an ESB. I enjoyed this one quite a lot. It's sometimes tough to find a good ESB, and this one was willing and able to step up and be the beer it needed to be.

Sample at the brewery: Hazy amber color with okay lacing. Flavors of cereal, barley, toffee, orange, lemon, and herbal hops. Slick and oily full body with a light crisp. Medium to strong strength finish, thick grainy feel with light leafy sensation. Bold and bready ESB. Decent freshness but lacks a bit of sharpness. The body is a bit too dull and oily. Overall very good quality craft.

L- Pours a Deep Amber topped by a 2 finger foamy white head. Great retention with light lacing.
S- Sweet Caramel malt perfectly balanced by a floral hoppiness.
T- Same as aroma. Nothing particularly complex or overly interesting, just solid, wholesome flavours.
F- Medium-Full Body and a Low Carbonation.
O- Maybee's Old Growth is a classically done ESB and it's done very well. Timeless sweet, malty flavour balanced perfectly with a floral hop presence. Good Stuff!
