L: Had this beer on-tap at Loose shoe, poured into a pint glass. Had a medium brown color and a somewhat hazy texture. There was a small amount of creamy, off white head that quickly dissipated. Average lacing.
S: A so-so aroma of roasted malt, smoke, hops, chocolate, and coffee.
T: Tasted of a bit of chocolate (could have used more), a tinge of coffee, a lot of roasted malt, some smoke (not as much as you might think), and a little bit of hops. The flavor is a little bit on the mild side, especially the advertised smoke; it's simply not as featured as it should be. Not bad, but a bit on the thin side.
F: A fair amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: Definitely an uneven beer. Not bad, but could have been better.

Sold as a smoked porter, there is smoke there, but it is a bit too much of an outlier and a bit too much as more of ash and char. A decent offering none the less
