L: Had this beer on-tap at Loose Shoe, poured into a pint glass. Had a dark brown color and a thick consistency. There was a quarter inch of creamy, off white, fairly long-lasting head. Very good lacing.
S: A very enticing aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, mint, hops.
T: Tasted of a good shot of dark chocolate (not overdone), a decent amount of roasted malt (mostly in the finish), a light, biscuity quality, lots of mint, and a bit of hops (not too much). Well, it really does taste like a thin mint cookie. It's an extremely well-balanced, almost refreshing flavor. Very tasty.
F: A fair amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: One of the more enjoyable Irish dry stouts I've ever had. Certainly drinkable.
