Big beautiful open space inside and out. Lots of food truck options on a regular basis. 24 taps but admittedly, some of them don’t really count because their seltzers. Good vibe. Somewhat limited selection, leaning on blinds, light, loggers, and a few IPAs as the main stay. At this time, they do have an Oktoberfest, American Strong ale, what they’re calling an Irish style stout, even though it’s a milk, stout on nitro, and an Irish red.

Old Stump is located in a warehouse type building in Pomona. It's easy to find from the street, ample parking. It's a large space. Lots of area for people to congregate and enjoy their beers. The production area is clearly visible from the taproom which I like to see. Outside, I saw a food truck serving Italian food. They also had some more tables and seating outside as well.
They had games available to play along with several large screens mounted on the wall. Nice selection of beers on tap. I had a flight of four tasters. I enjoyed all of them.
Very nice place to hang out and enjoy beers.

Great local joint with plenty to do (games, events, visiting food trucks, etc.) Always a sizable crowd in the evenings. Warehouse-type setting with substantial outdoor patio area. Variety of beer is good with many different offerings, however after several trips, Old Stump doesn't doesn't have any singular "home run" standout that I can put my finger on.

Open to the public for only a few weeks, Old Stump Brewing is an easy drive from La Verne Brewing as well as Sanctum Brewing. Easy to spot from the street, Old Stump is housed in a large building in which what is easily one of the largest taprooms by floor size that I have steeped into. The bar seems to go on forever, several long tables in the middle of the floor, and an outdoor patio gated off from the parking lot. Regarding style, it's no frills.
Nine different house beers pouring, and among them were a hefeweizen, two different IPA's, sweet stout, and more. I ordered a pint of the Red Hammock IPA and was impressed. Stop me if you have heard this before, but clunky shaker pints are the vessel of choice for the beer. Samplers are offered as well (I did have a sample of good sweet stout too).
Combining good beer with good people makes any beer experience better, and I got just that. A bartender who could keep a conversation, accurately describe beer flavors, and bartend just for the sake of it (not getting paid for it) commends massive respect. Bonus points for running into a couple at the bar who I had great conversation with (and two Red Hammock's on them), as the people behind and at the bar made my first time at Old Stump Brewing one to remember. Now to properly try the rest of the beer lineup in future!
