From a 16oz can.
The pour is fairly clear and a nice golden hue. A few carbonation bubbles are rising in the glass as I hold it to the light. The head is 2 finger and white. The head looks somewhat frothy. The retention is pretty good for an 8.5% beer. There's a bit of lacing on the glass as the head dissipates.
The nose is quite pleasing and strong from the hops. I get a nice whiff of pine. The pine is backed up by some tropical notes, with mango being the main tropical aroma.
Taste - Oh, wow, this is quite bitter. The bitterness is quite aggressive here from the hops, and it just builds and builds. Nice pine flavor, and just the faintest hint of mango shows up in the flavor.
The feeling from the bitterness just doesn't let go in this beer. The body is quite full. Sticky feeling.
