Had this on tap at the taproom.
A: Pours a reddish-amber color. Short, cream colored head with fairly short retention. Thin white lacing throughout.
S: Aromas of tropical fruit, pineapple, mango, and peach. Citrus notes of grapefruit, tangerine, and orange. Earthy and piney hops.
T: Taste matches aromas well with strong tropical fruit and citrus flavors. Pineapple, orange, and peach come through right away followed by mild piney hop bitterness. Could do with a little more of the bitterness for me.
F: Light-medium bodied, smooth, and crisp with good carbonation.
O: Overall, a great wet hopped IPA. Love the nose on this one. Tropical fruit bomb right here. It was great, but could have used a little more bitterness to balance the fruitiness. Pretty sure this was their first run with this brew, so I'm sure it'll get perfected. Hopefully it makes a return!
