From a 16oz can purchased at the brewery.
The beer is very murky looking and a pale golden color. I can see just a bit of light coming through the glass when I hold it to a light. The head that forms is 1 finger and white. It looks quite puffy, and frothy. The head retention is decent overall, and there's some beautiful lacing on the glass.
The single hop in this beer - comet - produces a very nice citrus aroma. It seems like grapefruit to my nose.
Taste - This beer is hoppy. I do get a lot of citrus flavor from it, and again, grapefruit is what I get from it. It has a decent bitterness.
This is one sticky beer. The hop bitterness lingers a very long time in my throat. Somewhat juicy feeling.
This is a good beer that showcases the comet hop very well. I am impressed.
