Don't miss out on this intensely dark, silky smooth pepperminty, chocolatey treat we like to call Peppermint Dark Addiction. This beer pours dark with a delightful tan frothy head and a creaminess that is added from the lactose. We add dark roasted v nibs from Ghana that give off a milk chocolate flavor and infuse it with real, fresh peppermint leaves for a perfectly balanced chocolate candy cane treat. Perfect for the holiday season!

From a 16oz can purchased at the brewery. No date on the can, but it was released today.
This beer pours like the base - pitch black in color. There's a thick 2 finger tan colored head. The head retention is great. I am really digging the lacing - it is so clingy looking on the glass.
The aroma hits while I was pouring the beer. Such a strong peppermint aroma. Up close it is just over the top. Fairly sweet smelling, but expected. Faint hints of chocolate also shine through.
Taste - The peppermint is strong, but not as strong as the nose suggested, though, this isn't a bad thing. I really get strong notes of the base beer shining through in this beer. There's good chocolate notes that really mix well with the peppermint. The chocolate is a bit dark and that cuts the sweetness of the peppermint.
Smooth body. Mayne a bit light feeling. The feeling of the peppermint lingers in my throat.
A very tasty and festive beer for the season.

16oz can. No dating information located.
Dark brown colored body with a mahogany brown back lit edge. Two fingers of tan head and this sticks around as a full cap and high ring. Leaves behind some spots and strings of lacing.
Aroma is minty chocolate or chocolate mint, whatever the swirl brings to the nostrils.
Taste is dark chocolate flavored with peppermint leaves. The chocolate extends into the aftertaste and the peppermint extends more in the nose.
Medium mouth feel. Peppermint aromatic cooling. Good carbonation.
Candy cane beer which is well balanced.
