Cask pour at San Marcos Brewery.
A: Burnished copper with a pillowy white cap.
S: Malt is most prominent, evincing notes of bread, biscuit, and toasted grain. There's an evident earthiness with a touch of mineral. Nice aroma.
T: Biscuit and toasted grain with earthy notes and a light bitterness. Faint caramel.
M: Lower medium body with a creamy upper moderate carbonation.
Overall: Solid all around, but not interesting enough to warrant a revisit. Though, if all the other breweries in the area burned down...I'm certainly not recommending that San Marcos Brewery perform arson of any kind, but it certainly wouldn't hurt their business.

On-tap @ the brewpub
A - Poured a copper color wit a white head that leaves lacing behind
S - Has a light nose of some malt
T - Like the nose the taste is light malt with a bitter finish
M - This beer has a medium body with light carbonation to it
D - Yet another average beer from this brewpub its not bad but not worth going out of your way to get either
