Summer's not quite over, and we're hanging on to the sunshine while we can. This raspberry lime sour is our way of keeping summer going, and it'll be here for a while, but not quite forever. Turns out forever is a long time...

Got a pretty sweet haul from Sam. I asked for some BlackStack and Drekker (I’m surprised I forgot about Fair State), and got a few others thrown in. Had never heard of this brewery, but I’m always excited to try new breweries out. Their website called this “Summer's not quite over, and we're hanging on to the sunshine while we can. This raspberry lime sour is our way of keeping summer going, and it'll be here for a while, but not quite forever. Turns out forever is a long time...”. I’m a sucker for raspberry beers so I was looking forward to this one.
Poured a deep amber-to-copper clear color with two fingers of frothy-to-fizzy pinkish white head, which dissipated quickly. No noticeable bubbles underneath the head. Below average watery lacing. Bad retention. (Sight - 3.00)
Smelled a great mix of raspberry and lime. They really complement each other, something I would never have though. Also gummi bear, raspberry puree, raspberry candy, sour raspberry and hints of cherry. Raspberry ends up drowning out the lime. Surprisingly more lime than raspberry from the can. (Smell - 4.50)
Where raspberries pulled ahead of the lime late on the nose, there was more balance with the taste. Got raspberry, lime, gummi bears, raspberry puree, dish soap, pine, sour raspberry candy and hints of sour cherry. (Taste - 4.00)
Light body. Sticky texture. Average-to-soft carbonation. Abrupt, sweet finish. (Feel - 4.00)
This was excellent overall. What a nice sweet kettle sour. (Overall - 4.25)
