My first from Tangled Roots, I went on their website and see their niche is as a gastropub and have opened 4 of them in ten years... which seems like a determined strategy, particularly given Covid crushed many a young pug and restaurant. But Tangled Roots survived and seems to have prospered. For that and their emphasis on food, I give them pretty good Overall Hugs.
As for this APA, I found it only slightly above average in all Look, Smell, Taste and Feel.

Draft at the brewery, quick review from notes.
This was slightly better than the IPA, but still lacked any assertive hop character.
Pale golden orange with a thin layer of frothy skim and minimal spotty lacing.
Aroma was mainly pale malt with a light citrus peel note.
Taste was similar, pale malt forward with a light citrus peel flavor.
Light bodied and a touch too watery, but besides that it was adequate.
