Copenhagen 3/5 2025. 44 cl can from Meny, Boups Allé, Frb. F. Can in Gamma's usual design wth a inricate, rowing pattern in yellow and orange.
Pours unclear golden yellow with a big, dense white head. Stable. Settles as a 0,5 c thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of malts singing with a perfumed scent of Elderflower. Distinct. Ligt fumes of tarts fruit. Sweet pale malts, Elderflower in abundance, lemonade and a hint of citrus and gooseberries.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, watery, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a more moderate tart sourness. Aftertaste is a tad thin. Sweet and fruity with a light tart undertone. Lingers shortly. Finish is semi-dry.
They do mean it when they call this a "Elderflower Saison".
