Brewed just like in Cologne: German Pilsner and Wheat Malts, German Magnum hops for bittering, Hallertauer hops for aroma and a spicy note. Fermented slow and cool with an authentic Kölsch yeast strain brought back from your Brewmaster’s studies in Germany.

Pours a nice golden straw with a slight hint of orange that is translucent. It has a slightly sweet aroma and taste and a nice malt taste, and the hops are quite mild. It has a medium head that stays for a while, A very good Kolsch. A very refreshing beer with a nice hop balance and slight spice notes. 25 IBUs Rated 5-30-2021

Had on tap. Clear dark golden body with a full white head and light lacing. Smell is yeast forward, with old world grassy hops, honey and classic malts round out. Taste is much the same, love the yeast, feels so natural in the style, hints of dry dirt and grass added. Feel is bready and yeasty, yet sneaky crisp, bright and medium bodied. Surprised by this one, an impressive easy yet flavorful drinker. The wife liked it.

500 ml bottle from Lifesource in Salem Oregon. $4.29 Pours a bright straw yellow colour with a nice sized bubbly pure whte head. Typical toasted bread and honey aroma for the style. Some echoes of grassy hop. Taste very balanced indeed..hrd to pick out anything outstanding but it is generally :kolschy". The mouth feel on this one is just about perfect..smooth, yet carbonated..nothing like boring. Overall a OK kolsc
