Can from Whole Foods.
A hazy copper with a dense, off-white head with excellent retention and lacing, this looks great. The nose is a blend of fruity hops and a simpler caramel malt character, rather than a rich, bready Vienna malt character. Almost orange like, the hops are quite floral with an earthy, minty accent. The malt character is caramel, a little toffee and not much bread. The palate is rather simple as well, with the sweetness and bitterness amped up and out of balance. Sweet, simple, a little fruity on the finish. Medium in body, softly carbonated, this comes up short, especially when going against the Ecliptic/Chuckanut collaboration
