Look: Pours a dark red with a lush and creamy-looking beige head that holds well as a pillow before receding to reveal copious amounts of lacing clung to the glass
Aroma: Freshly baked bread, melanoidin, toffee, a little raisin, lightly toasted bread, raw dough, pome fruit notes, and molasses
Taste: Bready malt, melanoidin, raisins, and dough come together out of the gate with a strong showing – both together and as separate entities. Fruitiness and light toffee and molasses-like sweetness weave in and out throughout and closes with more bread and raisins
Mouthfeel: Full but light, clean, medium-high carbonation, and a clean and crisp finish but with some light softness
Overall: This is an awesome and tasty beer. I love everything these folks make and drink them frequently so when I saw they packaged this, I did not hesitate on a sixer as I had enjoyed it on tap previously. Even better than I remember with layers of rich maltiness, light sweetness, and fruity notes all coming together in an effortless and tasty way. Highly recommended
