Look: Pours a turbid orange with an equally turbid-looking eggshell colored head that slowly settles to a silky pillow, leaving webs of lacing behind
Aroma: Cut grass, straw, biscuits, raw bread dough, earthy notes, light floral hops, wet soil/fresh rain, and freshly baked bread. This is truly a unique smelling beer and I can’t tell what I’m in for nor would I be able to say what style of beer this is from the aroma alone
Taste: Opens up with bread and dough that dance for a moment before straw, wet soil, and biscuits jump into the fold. Light earthiness and floral hop notes dance around as this goes from field/farm/earthy to bready to flowery throughout the journey and closes with bread and light fruitiness
Mouthfeel: Full, soft, medium-high carbonation, and soft and smooth on the finish
Overall: This is some good stuff. A very interesting beer to say the least and really glad I got to try it as I’m into it. I have no clue what specifically an ur-bock is nor have I heard of a Steinbier (both descriptors on the can) but whatever it is, I’m digging it as it reminds me of a Heller Bock and Kellerbier had a baby. Definitely worth checking out

6-pack purchased from American Market on State Street Salem (used to be Capital Market).
12 oz cans.
Pours a sort of hazy honey gold . Lovely thick white head, with fantastic lace,
Sweet honeycomb aroma. Caramel also. Lovely.
Taste smooth semi sweet. Again, honey and caramel. Just basic goodness.
Great smooth thick body..great mouth feel.
A really good beer. So friendly and a stone bier.

Really a nice and unique beer -- original while still feeling traditional somehow.
Pours a very cloudy butterscotch, small head that disappears quickly but with nice lacing.
Nose is subdued - a hint of noble hops, honeyed grains.
First sip is very nice -- a caramel maltiness immediately paired with an old-world hop earthiness. Not sure I've tasted anything quite like this, but it's a welcome novelty which invites another sip right away. Some booziness as it warms, but completely in step with the hop-grounded barley.
Body is full and satisfying; higher carbonation than expected, but it balances well with the malt and mouthfeel.
Overall, I very much hope this is not a one-off, though it seems like it must be (honestly: superheating stones and plunging them in the wort?!? A labor of love, to be sure). If Zoiglhaus were to somehow keep producing this annually for, say, 10 years, I believe it could become a global treasure.
