Poured from 12oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 2/17/26.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a dash of haze and a thick head of frothy white foam.
Smell: a light, watered-down grainy malt aroma with a hop character that is a little bit grassy and a little bit fruity. I won’t say it’s the best thing out there, but for a 2.8% light lager, it’s not bad.
Taste: grainy malt that is not particularly sweet, with a likewise mild hop character and a bitterness that is not too strong for the sweetness (or lack thereof). Like the aroma, there’s a watered-down vibe to this, but again, compared to other light lagers, you could do a hell of a lot worse.
Mouthfeel: light body with a decent carbonation and okay creaminess.
Overall: well, it’s definitely drinkable, but it does lack some character. It’s kinda halfway between a typical pilsner and a NA pilsner. This beer isn’t at all bad, but I think if I were trying to take it easy, I’d choose one of the decent NA lagers over this. This beer feels kinda like a half-measure, you know?
