L: Slightly Hazy golden Straw gold color with a creamy white head and no lacing.
S: Strong smell of sweet white wine grapes hide the Belgian yeast but it is still, with notes of crackery malt. Notes of fresh cut grass at the end.
T: White wine grapes with notes of Belgian yeast, notes of crackery malt. Finishes quite dry,
F: Light body and carbonation.
O: This Riesling grapes are dominant but this is a nice wine beer hybrid.

arguably my favorite beer i had in here, a saison with riesling grapes, crystal clear and effervescent in the globe like champagne, and a really different aroma and flavor profile. there is a sharpness and an acidity from the fruit and the yeast together, which tastes like a french saison strain to me, but there is also a sweetness that is a really nice balancing element to the dry grainy base here. not so sure the malt base is primarily wheat, its lighter than that and very clear, definitely thinking more of a belgian pils barley type base, light and dry with a little crackery baked flavor to it. the grapes flavor the beer as much as the yeast does, with a little tang and a little sweetenss. the texture is light and well carbonated, a little gritty up front, lots going on. in the end this is a very distinctive beer, and one of the better executed in here, although they did have a fair few creative recipes on the menu. it hits a high note for me, clean and bright, a more refined belgian/saison hybrid with just the right amount of fruit.
