Remarkably rich Amber Ale. This is certainly more malty tasting than the typical specimen. Appearance is a hazy dark amber with a thickish body. Not exactly sweet but the roasted malt gives it a caramel taste.
There's a buttery and nutty note in the aftertaste. Quite modest bitterness. Overall, this is a big mouthful and quite pleasing. Poured from the 32 oz growler purchased at the brewery. There's some yeasty flavor and the last pour reveals an abundance of sediment.
